| After a warm night in the dorm we headed out
for the day. A short taxi ride to downtown took us to McCormick Cafe, which
is the only open Internet connection we could find, and also has a
wonderful Sunday buffet brunch (thanks to Cynde for taking the picture).
They were nice enough to let us hang out for several hours and take care of
business - what a great place! After breakfast we walked about 2 miles to the movie theater only to discover we went to the wrong one, so called another taxi to take us to the correct one. By the time we reached the correct theater the movie had started, so we walked to Wal-Mart and did some shopping, then headed to Borders for coffee. Back to the dorm for lunch making and our meeting, then did some bike cleaning before heading out for dinner. Dinner was at the Pickle Factory with David V., Chris, Brian, Bruce and Kelsey, then back to pack up and get ready for tomorrow, a (hopefully) easy day of 54 miles. |
