More fun on the bike than most people have! Spectacular early morning views leaving Waterton, lots of reflections on glass-like lakes. Also saw a black bear on the hillside, far enough away that we could linger and watch. Great climb across the border back into the US, then over Chief Mountain Pass, and the best French Toast at the Babb Press cafe (made with banana bread and drizzled with fresh honey). Hot and dusty in the campsite, but a dip in (cold) St. Mary Lake was refreshing. |
